Legal — terms
Terms of use
These terms cover this website. They exist mainly to be clear about two things: the specifications shown here are a reference design, and the features are labelled so you can tell what is released from what is still on the roadmap.
This site describes a product in development. Nothing here is a quotation, a specification sheet for a production unit, or a promise of a feature. If a specification matters to a purchase decision, ask us for the validated figure in writing — and do not rely on a reference number until we have confirmed it.
1. Agreement
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms apply to the website and to enquiries made through it. They do not replace a signed pilot agreement, order form or software licence, which take precedence where they conflict.
2. Information on this site
The site describes NeMeets: a connected meeting speaker and an AI meeting suite that turn supported conversations into reviewable records and approved next steps. The material is written to be accurate about the current stage of the product, including where capability does not exist yet.
Product description is not legal, security, financial or compliance advice. Where the site refers to data-protection obligations, model licences or platform terms, those points are requirements to be reviewed with qualified counsel before a commercial launch — not an assertion that a review has concluded.
3. Reference specifications
Hardware figures shown on this site — microphone count, pickup range, speaker output, battery capacity, dimensions, weight, connection options and multi-unit expansion — describe a reference design. They are useful for understanding the shape of the product and are not independently verified specifications for a final production unit.
- Actual pickup range depends on room acoustics, background noise and placement.
- Speaker output and audio processing must be measured on final hardware before being published as specifications.
- Battery runtime and charging time are not established by the reference profile.
- Linking more than one speaker requires compatibility, coverage and stability testing; it is not a promise that coverage scales linearly with unit count.
We will publish tested figures for a production model when those tests exist, and not before.
4. Feature status
Features on this site are described in one of three states. The state matters:
| Label | What it means | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Available | Built and demonstrable in the current pilot build. | Post-meeting transcription, speaker turns, summaries, decisions, tasks, open questions, review and export. |
| Pilot | Working with design partners, still being measured and corrected on real meetings. | Local-first processing on supported hardware, mobile capture, customer-requirement output. |
| Roadmap | Planned, not available, and not sold as part of the current offer. | Live transcription, cross-meeting semantic search, broad CRM/calendar integrations, translation, spoken summaries, automated sending. |
Live transcription, voice identity matching, broad integrations and autonomous actions are explicitly outside the first version. They should not be treated as included in any pilot or purchase until they appear as available here or in a signed agreement.
5. Pilot programme
A pilot request through this site is an expression of interest, not a contract. If we take it further, the pilot is governed by a separate written agreement covering at least:
- the meetings that may be captured and who is responsible for obtaining participant consent;
- where recordings and transcripts are stored, and for how long;
- which features are in scope, and the success measures for the pilot;
- what happens to the data at the end of the pilot, including deletion.
Recording a meeting without the knowledge and consent of participants may be unlawful. Consent obligations belong to the organisation running the meeting, and NeMeets will not support covert capture.
6. Acceptable use
When using this site you agree not to:
- submit information you do not have the right to share, including another person's personal data without a lawful basis;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its host or any connected system;
- probe, scan or load-test the site in a way that degrades it for others;
- use automated means to scrape content, or submit bulk or automated pilot requests;
- misrepresent an affiliation with NeMeets, or use the brand to imply an endorsement that does not exist.
7. Intellectual property
The NeMeets name, the logo, the page design, the written content and the software described on this site belong to NeMeets or its licensors. You may read, print and share pages for your own evaluation and internal business use. You may not republish the content as your own, resell it, or use the marks in a way that suggests a partnership that has not been agreed in writing.
Reference hardware profiles originate with the hardware supplier and may be subject to their rights and terms. Branding, resale and rebranding rights for a production model are confirmed in writing before a product is offered for sale.
8. No warranty
This website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that the information is complete, or that any described feature will be available on a particular date. Performance figures and proposed pilot targets mentioned on the site are targets to validate, not achieved results.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, NeMeets is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website, or from reliance on information published here that has not been confirmed in a signed agreement. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Third-party links
The site loads a web-font stylesheet from Google Fonts. Where it links to an external site, that site is governed by its own terms and privacy policy; a link is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for its content.
11. Privacy
Handling of personal information, including the pilot form and meeting recordings, is described in the privacy notice, which forms part of these terms.
12. Changes
These terms may be updated as the product and the site change. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms; material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India. Before any formal dispute, we ask that you write to us so we can try to resolve the issue directly.
14. Contact
